During the 80's, HRMS, under the name VideoSearch, created several visionary products including the VideoResume, a tool used by sales organizations to pre-screen employment applicants using mock sales presentations. Later in the decade, HRMS produced and aired a regularly scheduled, half-hour recruitment television programs called "Meet Your Next Employer." For his pioneering work in recruitment advertising, Mr. Katz received the Employment Management Association's National Pericles Award.

Collaborating with several staffing agencies to put hundreds of welfare recipients back to work, HRMS was funded by the County of Los Angeles as one of the first Welfare-to-Work demonstration programs. In the late 90’s, HRMS received funding to designed and operate Hollywood Digital Careers, a high-end technical training program that retrained artists as digital visual effects specialists.

In 2000, HRMS launched Dot.com Job Search™, a proprietary curriculum designed to teach staff and clients how to use the Internet to find a job. The course has been widely used by many government agencies across the country and is delivered in several modalities including classroom, CD ROM and online which can be previewed by going to the Dot.com Job Search™ demo.

More recently, several new services have been provided by HRMS. Through partnerships with MonsterTMP Worldwide, HRMS designed a marketing and branding program for www.laworkforce.org and for the Orange County, California Workforce Investment Board. And, in partnership with the Anderson School of Management, HRMS created and produce a one-day Baby Boomer career transition conference to help older alumni return to work.
