Are We Moving Toward Government Managed One-Stops?
WIA funding reauthorization is scheduled for 2010. One issue has emerged on the minds of many with respect to reauthorization-- requiring one-stops to be managed by the state employment services, or other 'merit' systems, versus the current practice (but not always) allowing for profit and non-profit agencies to competitively bid for the management service contract. Care to comment about this?
