Speaking Opportunities

Keynote, Panelists and Workshop Presenting Opportunities

Dear Colleague,

Do you know a sage that hundreds of healthcare stakeholders would like to meet, network and share the latest in workforce development challenges and solutions?

I would appreciate your help in reaching professionals in your network, or considering the speaking opportunities for yourself.

Who Will Benefit

This groundbreaking event for our area will bring together hundreds of prominent national, regional and locally based Connecticut and New York healthcare stakeholders with an opportunity to focus exclusively on workforce issues for the benefit of:

a)  Healthcare employers and providers with an understanding of how accelerated adoption of electronic medical records will impact workforce planning, recruiting and staffing strategies.

b)  Healthcare educators with an understanding of how accelerated adoption of electronic medical records will impact changes in healthcare curriculum and training.

c)  Public healthcare officials, hardware and software vendors, health information technology (HIT) consultants, medical device manufacturers and professional associations (the health tech infrastructure) with an understanding of the federally-funded HITECH ACT and its impact on preparing workers for HIT careers.

d)  Employers and colleges that want to tap into a new source of applicants for the purpose of:

i)   Recruiting qualified healthcare IT professionals with an emphasis on EHR roles.

ii)  Seeking qualified students for additional healthcare and IT education.

e)  Students, job seekers, and incumbent healthcare workers with an understanding of how electronic medical records will change healthcare job responsibilities, skill requirements, and career advancement opportunities
