The Southern California Chapter of HIMSS partnered with HRMS to present the 2011 Healthcare IT Conference, Healthcare Reform: Driving to 2015 and Beyond, held at the fabulous California Endowment complex in downtown Los Angeles on March 9, 2011. National and California leaders discussed the impact of accountable care, health information exchanges, EHR & meaningful use, and tele/wireless health on healthcare reform. HRMS produced free afternoon workshops on healthcare workforce development issues. The sessions for healthcare IT employers, educators and workforce/economic development professionals included:
