SeasonedPro Proudly Presents

A Holistic Approach to Mid-Life Career Transition

Are you a Baby Boomer seeking information, resources, and support on issues of future employment, business options and work-life balance?

In collaboration with leading universities throughout the county, SeasonedPro now offers a unique career transition and job fair conference addressing the seasoned professional’s need for information, advice and inspiration on issues of future employment, career options, and work-life balance.

We have joined forces with major colleges and universities committed to reconnecting with their alumni through a partnership that allows us to provide a carefully crafted Baby Boomer job fair and career transition conference entitled A Holistic Approach to Mid-Life Career Transition.

Our Baby Boomer career events are unique, informative, fun and inspirational. Over 85% of the attendees rate our programs as “meeting” or “exceeding” their expectations. We now offer both one-day and two-day conferences.

Alumni Baby Boomer conference attendees come to Baby Boomer alumni events for a variety of reasons including:

  • Seeking faster career advancement in their present occupation.
  • Understanding how to transfer their skills and experience to a different industry or field of work.
  • Fulfilling life-long aspirations to make a difference in the world.
  • Reentering the workforce after an extended absence.
  • Striving for a better work-life balance.
  • Starting, buying, or selling a business.
  • Seeking independent contract work and/or part-time employment.

Held on the campus of the host university, you will be able to meet with employers in a job fair environment. While meeting with individual employers, you also have access to job search interactive workshops held periodically during the day, and conducted by well-known experts covering critical job search skills as:

  • Job Search Strategy
  • Assessment
  • Career Exploration
  • Resume Preparation
  • Interviewing Skills
  • Networking
  • Identifying and Marketing Transferable Skills
  • Using the Internet To Find A Job
  • Self-Employment

Attendees will be offered a robust array of nationally recognized speakers addressing common career transition issues, personal aspirations and challenges affecting Baby Boomer professionals at mid-life. The day includes breakfast, coffee breaks and lunch networking times.

An inspirational keynote speaker and a panel of Baby Boomer professionals that have made successful mid-life transitions are featured during the morning general sessions. Afternoon breakout sessions include expert and engaging speakers from the fields of HR, communication, career management, executive search, psychology, entrepreneurship, law, healthcare, financial planning and executive coaching.
